Design & Concept Note
“Read & Explore India” was envisioned as a multi-sensorial journey through India’s landscapes, stories, and cultural rhythms — transporting visitors through layered experiences of visuals, sound, texture, color, food, and interaction.
The pavilion was designed as a sequence of immersive zones inspired by different geographies, architectural traditions, and cultural narratives from across India. The visual language for each zone drew from regional textiles, architectural details, material culture, and local craft traditions to develop distinct patterns, motifs, and color palettes.
Visual
Storytelling System
A cohesive graphic language was developed across print, digital, spatial, and motion-led platforms to unify the pavilion experience.
The Experience
An expansive visual narrative system that unified environmental graphics, immersive media, and interactive storytelling into a contemporary pavilion experience, inviting visitors to explore India’s diverse literary and cultural landscape through a multi-sensorial journey.
